Prior to Making a Claim Self-test/Troubleshooting
- Check the power source with another appliance to ensure power is getting to your energizer.
- Check that the connection wires to the fence and ground rods are clean. Check the fence line for dead shorts such as broken wire touching the earth or plant material touching the fence, which could short out the energizer.

- Retailer/Distributor must locate a copy of your original invoice and customer receipt from the day the unit was purchased. These items must accompany replacement requests. If the unit is found to be covered under the 12-month Powerfields warranty an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) will be issued along with a return shipping label.
- Any energizer purchased within 13-36 months - Retailer/Distributor must send all detailed pertinent information to the current Powerfields Office Administrator or to sales@powerfields.com for repair authorization and warranty verification.
- After prior authorization, the retailer or customer will need to send any energizer that is within the 13–36-month warranty in for repairs. (See approved repair centers below)
- Any energizer purchased longer than 3 years ago will be deemed out of warranty.
- Customer has the option of repairing at an approved repair center with all expenses of the repair and shipping being their sole responsibility.
- If said unit is denied warranty coverage due to mishandling or improper use but is determined to be repairable, the customer has the choice to send the unit to an approved repair center and pay for shipping and repair costs.
